An unforgettable chance to experience one of the World’s great arid regions, and to witness massive flood waters.
Trips coming up:
2 days: From Shepparton to Birdsville and Lake Eyre
We have some dates with vacancies at the moment.
Here's what our clients have said about the trip:
...It was amazing to fly over the Outback and with the clear weather we had some fabulous views. It was also interesting to see areas from the air which we had previously explored by foot and on the backs of camels. It certainly looked different. We also enjoyed seeing the Flinders Ranges from above and being able to pick out areas where we had walked. Experiencing Innamincka and Birdsville was great. The birdlife in Cooper Creek was fabulous. I think that all the pelicans from Victoria must have congregated there as there are not so many to be seen on the Gippsland Lakes as there used to be !!Seeing Lake Eyre was good, even though the water has receded quite a bit.
The food and accomodation at Birdsville were excellent. When one thinks of the location and the logistics of bringing in food supplies and building materials, it is quite amazing.
Thank you Rob for introducing us to this trip and for organising everything. Also please pass on our thanks to Brad, our pilot.
Sincerely,
Liz & Christian Hamann
Lake Eyre is in South Australia, my home state. Thanks again for such an amazing tour. The views from the aircraft of the Simpson Desert, Lake Eyre & Lake Frome were spectacular. Visions of the vastness & splendour of the outback will remain with me forever. Attached [below] is a photo of sunrise at the billabong in Birdsville.
Regards,
Rae Bright
Seems like only yesterday but it is actually a week ago today that Glenn & I took off (Twice) on the flight to Eyre.
We really enjoyed the flight. Ralph [the pilot] looked after us very well and our travelling companions, Irene & Jenny, joined in the atmosphere of adventure.
Hope your future trips go well for you. We had a ball and can recommend the trip to all."

“….the scenery was fantastic-how do you describe the colours and sights to people who haven’t seen it?”
Sue Ridgewell, July 2009.
"...we enjoyed our two day flight to see Lake Eyre, the colours and views from the plane were so wonderful and words can't describe... Thank you and Ralph for the experience..."
